VANTAGE WINDOWS AND DOORS

Josh, General Manager of Vantage Windows

We’ve been involved with Maddren Homes for the good part of 17 years. They’ve been a great supporter of us throughout the time that we’ve been doing joinery for them, and as a sole supplier, which in this day and age is very rare for building companies. So we are very grateful for that opportunity. One thing about this show home here, when you look around the Milldale area, this place definitely stands out from the rest. So bringing our doors and windows into this build was a no-brainer for us, to showcase some of the new products that have been brought out in the last year or so.

We have a range that includes the residential ThermalHeart+ series, Metro and Architectural series. In this home we’ve used the residential and the architectural. Generally speaking, across any residential home the residential series is a very fit-for-purpose product. However, when you get to different scenarios like we have here, with the internal corner over-the-wall slider, that’s where an architectural product is used, to cater for that purpose.

Being a new release product, this was the first internal corner over-the-wall sliding door that we’ve produced. As with any new product there’s always challenges and getting your head around new things but it all went together very well. The end result is pretty fantastic.

The glass that’s used in these products is an AGP Glass Solux-E product, which is a Low-E glass. They’ve just been ranked top three in the world for their glass manufacturing processes, so that’s pretty impressive that little old New Zealand is in that bracket, and it just shows the high-performing value of the product that is in this home.

The entrance door is from another new range, from Parkwood Doors. You’ll see there’s a new batten look to it, they’re a great new range of doors that have become very popular in the homes we’re doing.
